This exquisite olive oil will be available in all the restaurants within Jumeirah Port Soller. It adds a delicate flavour to food - perfect for green salads, seasonal vegetables, pasta, risotto, seafood, meat, or just to drizzle onto bread to fully savour the taste. Offering aromas of the sea and land from which it comes from, the oil will also be offered as a special amenity, complete with an explanation of the history of olive oil and its importance to Spanish trade.
As part of the ‘Unique Experiences’ programme foodies can arrange to go behind the scenes and discover how it’s made at the local ‘Cooperativa de Sóller.’ During the tour, guests can gain an understanding of the olive oil making process from the picking to the pressing and also sample different oils, all pressed at the cooperative.
